Lee Howard has been awarded the catering franchise for Ballycastle Golf club. Lee’s motto is to source local produce as far as possible & serve freshly cooked food to order. His front of house team are on hand to meet & greet you with a smile should you be a club member, member of the public or a visiting society member from another club, everyone is welcome at The Margy Restaurant.
The Margy Restaurant offers a full wine menu to accompany food in the Restaurant. With the restaurant seating up to 100 people, Lee and his team will be running different themed nights throughout the year. An example of this can be viewed below, and we look forward to seeing some exciting themes at The Margy Restaurant.
Lee trained as a young chef in the late 80’s part-time at weekends… On leaving school he attended catering college were he trained & had seminars & cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs like Keith Floyd, Gary Rhodes and others. He has headed the kitchen in local golf clubs and now hopes to bring his experience to Ballycastle Golf Club.
Is the restaurant open to the public?
YES!!! The catering service is open to the public & enquiries are welcome regarding functions such as weddings , christening parties, sporting societies , confirmations, communions , birthdays or just a good old fashioned get together!
